Rockslide, whose real name is Santo Vaccarro, is a mutant character from Marvel Comics. He is a student at the Xavier Institute and a member of various X-Men teams.
Santo's mutation grants him a body composed of psionically controlled rock fragments. He can project these fragments to create projectiles, reshape his body for defense, and even reconstruct himself if destroyed.
Originally brash and hot-headed, Rockslide often uses slang and boasts of his invulnerability. He possesses super strength and durability commensurate with his rocky form.
Despite his sometimes aggressive demeanor, Santo is a loyal friend and teammate, particularly close to other young mutants such as Hellion and Surge. He has participated in numerous battles alongside the X-Men, facing threats to both mutantkind and the world.
Rockslide's psionic abilities extend beyond control of his rock body. He demonstrates limited telepathic resistance and can even project a psionic construct of his face to communicate when his body is shattered.
